PLUCK?
Pluck Music Agency is a North East-based team of professional musicians providing live music for weddings, events, corporate occasions, productions, theatres, festivals and more.
Alongside performing, we also create and develop our own musical projects and productions, bringing together experienced musicians and trusted creative professionals to deliver high-quality live entertainment.
We are passionate about music and take pride in bringing professionalism, energy and a genuine love of what we do to every event.
What types of events do you perform at?
We provide live music for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, private parties and celebrations, corporate events, drinks receptions and dining events, festivals, theatres and music venues, event productions, tour support and other live music opportunities.

What acts are available through Pluck?
Samantha Durnan – Solo acoustic music for weddings, events, corporate occasions and more.
Still Into You – Our professional wedding and events band, providing live music for celebrations and evening receptions.
Fleetwed Mac – A Fleetwood Mac-inspired wedding experience, recently launched for couples who want something a little different for their wedding entertainment.
SHE The Show – A five-piece professional live show celebrating the pop and rock sheroes of the 70s and 80s, with its own professional tech crew. SHE performs at theatres, music venues, festivals and other live events.

Do you work with a regular team of musicians?
Yes. Pluck works with a small, trusted team of professional musicians who perform regularly across our established acts and projects.
We know the musicians we work with personally and professionally, which means we can maintain a consistent standard of musicianship, reliability and professionalism across our bookings.
For larger productions, we may also bring in additional trusted professional musicians where required.
Do you travel outside the North East?
Yes.
Although Pluck Music Agency is North East-based, our musicians and projects regularly perform further afield and we are happy to travel throughout the UK.
Travel costs may apply depending on the location and requirements of the booking. These will always be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
Can I make a last-minute booking?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weddings and larger productions, as our dates can become booked well in advance.
However, it's always worth getting in touch. If we have availability, we may be able to accommodate a last-minute booking.
Please note: larger show productions such as SHE The Show require considerably more planning and cannot generally be accepted as last-minute bookings.
How do I secure my booking?
Simply enquire with your wedding date and details. We’ll check our availability and, if we’re available, ask for any further information we need before sending over your booking confirmation, including the deposit details. Once your deposit has been paid, we will be in touch to confirm that your date is officially secured.
A deposit of £100–£150, depending on the booking, is required to secure your date.
Your booking is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
When are payments due?
For weddings, the final balance is normally due 6 weeks before the wedding date.
For other events, payment schedules may vary depending on the nature of the booking and the terms agreed within your contract.
All payment dates will be clearly outlined in your booking documentation.
What happens if Pluck has to cancel?
Pluck Music Agency will only cancel a confirmed booking in circumstances covered by force majeure, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Where possible, we will make every reasonable effort to find a suitable replacement, although we cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available.
Wedding Music
What wedding music do you provide?
Our wedding services can range from a single 60-minute performance through to full-day wedding packages, depending on the act and package selected.
Our musicians can provide music for parts of your wedding day including ceremonies, drinks receptions, dining and evening entertainment.
Can we choose our ceremony and first dance songs?
Absolutely.
We are happy to learn suitable ceremony songs and first dance requests, provided we have enough notice.
For the rest of your wedding entertainment, our musicians perform a carefully selected repertoire suited to the style of the act and your event.
When do you need our song choices?
We recommend providing any ceremony or first dance requests at least 4 weeks before your wedding.
This gives our musicians enough time to properly prepare and learn the material.
Can we see your repertoire?
Yes.
You can view the repertoire for our individual artists and acts via their artist pages, including links to their music and Spotify playlists where available.
What time will the musicians arrive?
Solo acoustic acts: approximately 60 minutes before the performance.
Bands: approximately 90 minutes before the performance.
This allows sufficient time for arrival, setup, soundcheck and preparation before your guests are ready for the music.
Do you provide your own equipment?
Yes.
Our musicians provide their own performance equipment and sound systems appropriate for their booking.
Our equipment is PAT tested, and our musicians hold the appropriate insurance for their professional work.
Do you provide microphones?
Our standard performance packages do not include providing microphones for speeches or general event use.
If you have specific sound requirements, please let us know when enquiring so we can discuss what may be possible.
Can you provide background music between sets?
We can provide music between live sets where this has been agreed as part of your package.
If you would like us to stay beyond the final live performance specifically to provide music, an additional charge may apply.
Our standard bookings do not include providing background music continuously throughout the entire wedding day unless this is specifically included within your chosen package.
What happens if our venue has a sound limit?
We are experienced in working with venues and their requirements.
If your venue has a sound restriction, we will work with the venue to manage the performance appropriately while still giving you the best experience possible.
Do you provide a DJ as well as a live band?
We don't provide a traditional DJ service as part of our standard band bookings.
If you'd like playlist music between or after the band's performance, we can discuss suitable options.
SHE The Show
What is SHE The Show?
SHE The Show is a professional live music show celebrating the pop and rock sheroes of the 70s and 80s.
It is performed by a five-piece professional band with its own technical crew and is designed as a full live entertainment experience rather than a traditional function band.
Can I book SHE The Show for my wedding?
No. SHE The Show is not available for weddings.
For wedding bookings, we have selected musicians from the SHE team to create Still Into You, our dedicated wedding and events band.
Where can I book SHE The Show?
SHE The Show is available for theatres, music venues, festivals, corporate events, live entertainment events, tour support and other suitable performance opportunities.

How long is SHE The Show?
The full SHE The Show performance is approximately 2 hours long.
For festivals and certain events, a 60-minute performance may also be available depending on the event requirements.
Can SHE The Show perform outside of the UK?
Our current focus is the UK, but if you have an opportunity that you think would be suitable for SHE The Show, please contact us to discuss it.
Corporate & Other Events
Do you provide music for corporate events?
Yes.
We've provided musicians including Samantha Durnan for corporate events and business occasions.
If you're planning a corporate event and feel one of our artists or acts could suit your audience, we'd be happy to hear from you. We'll look at the event, requirements and artist availability and let you know whether we feel we're the right fit.
Do you work with venues and event professionals?
Yes.
We work with a number of wedding venues throughout the North East as recommended suppliers and have also worked with music venues, booking agencies, venue agencies and corporate event planners.
We're always happy to work alongside professional event teams to make the booking and performance run as smoothly as possible.
Do you perform at festivals?
Yes.
Our acts and productions may be available for festival performances depending on the project and requirements.
SHE The Show, in particular, is available to discuss festival opportunities, including suitable festival slots and other live entertainment opportunities.
Can I book Pluck to create a completely bespoke show for my event?
Our projects have their own established formats and we don't offer unlimited bespoke entertainment packages.
However, for certain events and productions, we may be able to discuss adaptations or additional requirements. The best thing to do is contact us with your brief and we'll let you know what we can offer.
I'm not sure which act is right for my event.
Absolutely.
Tell us a little about your event, including the date, venue, type of event, timings and the atmosphere you're looking to create, and we'll recommend the Pluck artist or project we feel is the best fit.
We'd much rather recommend the right act for your event than simply book you something that isn't suitable.
